History is about to be made in space as the first African Astronaut makes the 4-man crew.
Captain Victor Glover will serve as pilot for NASA’s Artemis II mission, becoming the first Black astronaut to travel to the Moon. This historic 10‑day mission will be humanity’s first journey around the Moon in decades, taking Glover and his crew on a full lunar orbit and back.
For Glover, this mission represents not just exploration, but visibility and possibility, giving people everywhere someone they can see themselves in as they dream bigger.
